Walnut Creek Single Family Home Sales Overview
Walnut Creek home sales in Quarter 4-2023 declined 26% compared with the same quarter one year ago. Compared with the most recent Third Quarter, sales increased by 22 homes in Quarter Four. With 49 properties sold, this was the highest number of sales of any quarter in 2023. At the same time, days on market increased 7% from one year ago and by 32 days from the last quarter. Average and median home prices increased both year-over-year and quarter-over-quarter. The list to sale price ratio declined 1% from last year, but was flat quarter-over-quarter.

Walnut Creek Townhome Sales Overview
Walnut Creek saw just one townhome sell in Quarter 4-2023. Median and average home sale prices increased 7% from the same quarter in 2022. Home sale prices were unchanged from Quarter 3-2023. The list to sale price ratio jumped to 101.28%, year-over-year, but was about 2% higher than what we saw in the most recent two quarters. At nine days on market, townhomes sold more quickly in Quarter 4-2023 than in the previous two quarters in 2023. But it should be noted that just one home sold in the quarter.
