Latest news on the Indian Land real estate market and what it means for you…

The Indian Land housing market remains a seller’s market with just 2.8 months supply of inventory overall. And with home sellers receiving 98% of asking price in sale price, there wasn’t much room for buyers to negotiate in October.

Average days on market dropped by 9 days to 43 year-over-year, while median days on market dropped by 10 days to just 17.

Just as it was in September, the Indian Land housing market in October was all about new construction. New construction listings increased 73.3%. New construction sales increased 12.8% year-over-year, while sales of resale homes decreased 1% year-over-year. New construction pending sales also increased 44.9% year-over-year in Indian Land and dropped by 0.5% for resale homes due to lack of inventory. Indian Land inventory was up 91.7% for new construction homes, but down 16.3% for resale homes. 

At an average sale price of $388,853 new construction homes sold at approximately an $81,000 premium over resale homes in October 2019.
