Salute to Service On Veterans Day
SALUTE TO SERVICE ON VETERANS DAY
THANK YOU VETERANS
“Salute to Service” is a powerful tribute to the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces, honoring their sacrifices, resilience, and dedication to protecting our freedoms. This Veterans Day, it’s a reminder for us all to show gratitude, reflect on their service, and support veterans within our communities in meaningful ways. Today we salute and honor those who have taken up the call to duty and served our nation. Today let’s give a big thank you to all of the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our nation. You are a shining example of the best our country has to offer.
“On this Veterans Day, let us remember the service of our veterans and let us renew our nation’s promise to fulfill our sacred obligations to our veterans and their families who have sacrificed so much so that we can live free.”
-Dan Lipinski
To the brave men and women of the United States Armed Services and the families who love them, I offer my personal thanks and eternal gratitude.
“Veterans know better than anyone else the price of freedom, for they’ve suffered the scars of war. We can offer them no better tribute than to protect what they have won for us.”
– Ronald Reagan
Veterans are our family, friends and neighbors. They are staples of our communities. One day isn’t near enough to recognize their service, but we couldn’t be more grateful to those who served our great nation—both in our community in North Carolina and across the country.
WHEN YOU SEE A SOLDIER
By Kelly Roper
When you see a soldier
Be sure to shake his or her hand,
And let that soldier know you’re grateful
For the protection the military affords our land.
But most of all, express your thanks
In order to serve our country,
They risked their entire lives.
VETERANS IN NORTH CAROLINA
