Charlotte region ended March 2021 with less than a 1 month supply of inventory of homes at 0.6 months (down 71.4% year-over-year).   New listings dropped 8.1% year-over-year. Lack of overall inventory, which was down 70.2%, pushed median home prices up 12.1% to $305,000. Average home prices were up 17.7% to $370,706 for the month ended March 2021 compared with March 2020. Days on market until a home sold dropped 22 days from 46 days in March 2021 to 24 days in March 2021.
